Na primeira temporada, Elena Voss procura Ryu após receber uma previsão Classe Um: ela será assassinada às 23 horas daquele mesmo dia. Restam apenas seis horas para descobrir quem deseja sua morte e por quê. Enquanto investiga o marido, a sócia e a amante de Elena, Ryu começa a perceber que o verdadeiro mistério pode não ser quem cometerá o crime, mas quem controla as previsões do ORACLE — e quem se beneficia quando o futuro é tratado como inevitável.
Ryu’s Mysteries é uma série antológica criada especialmente para o formato vertical. Sua primeira temporada, The Woman Who Died Twice, é estruturada em sete episódios curtos que combinam mistério, ficção científica distópica, investigação e atmosfera neo-noir. Cada temporada apresenta um novo caso, ao mesmo tempo que revela fragmentos de uma conspiração maior envolvendo o ORACLE.
A história original foi concebida e escrita por Rafael Beck, inspirada pelo nascimento de sua filha, Rio. A produção visual utiliza inteligência artificial generativa no desenvolvimento dos personagens, das locações e da atmosfera da série, além da criação e animação das cenas. A direção criativa, os roteiros, as artes, os prompts de animação, a montagem e a finalização foram conduzidos por Rafael.

In a dystopian megacity where the rain never stops, a predictive intelligence known as ORACLE announces people’s deaths with absolute accuracy. To the system, the future is not a possibility—it is a sentence.
Ryu is a young former detective who was expelled from the police force after questioning the machine’s predictions. Skeptical, indebted and deliberately analog, she now works as a private investigator, taking on the cases the system would rather consider closed.
In the first season, Elena Voss approaches Ryu after receiving a Class One prediction: she will be murdered at 11 p.m. that same day. With only six hours remaining, Ryu must discover who wants Elena dead and why. As she investigates Elena’s husband, business partner and lover, Ryu begins to realize that the real mystery may not be who will commit the crime, but who controls ORACLE’s predictions—and who benefits when the future is treated as inevitable.
Ryu’s Mysteries is an anthology series created specifically for vertical viewing. Its first season, The Woman Who Died Twice, is structured as seven short episodes combining mystery, dystopian science fiction, investigative thriller and neo-noir atmosphere. Each season introduces a new case while gradually revealing fragments of a larger conspiracy surrounding ORACLE.
The original story was conceived and written by Rafael Beck, inspired by the birth of his daughter, Rio. Generative AI was used throughout the visual production process, including character development, locations, world-building and scene animation. Rafael was responsible for the creative direction, screenwriting, visual development, animation prompts, editing and final post-production.
The pilot episode available on this page introduces Ryu, the world of the series and the beginning of Elena Voss’s case. It also demonstrates the narrative potential of artificial intelligence in vertical series, microdramas and emerging audiovisual formats.
